It's a but hoppier than last night's 3 from the same mob, but is it any better?

A bit. It's about a percentage point stronger, at 5.5%, and that explains what the 33% rise in naming numbers is for.

It also runs a prettier label, so it's clearly the premium brew. It's a touch more bitter and there is a lot more malt and just a hint of sweetness.

The problem is the same as the 3, though - a very watery mouthfeel. It's like you're drinking soda water with beer essence mixed through it.

That said, it holds its own against the bottom rung of the mainstream beers.
