NORBERTUS DOUBLE BOCK

The Norbertus Heller Bock from Kempten in Germany.

Cracked this little number open to celebrate the 100th German beer at www.beeriosity.com. Which takes us to 101. So I should have done it one German beer ago. Ooops.

Anyway, it's a 7.5% brew that smells a bit like wet dirt tastes initially like heaps of malt mixed with an aspirin.

And then there's the metallic hit towards the end. Good mouthfeel but not the best heller bock I've had, much less a celebration beer.
