CASCADE PALE ALE

Won't see Dad this Christmas; he's drinking whatever cheap shit my brother in Bangalow is serving him.

We'll go back to 2010; Dad celebrating surviving nine days in Tasmania (one train trip, five boat trips and a helicopter flight).

The beer; probably still not much on offer at Hobart Airport. From memory I had some good pale ales that year, including Hargraves Hill in the Yarra Valley and Three Troupers from Western Victoria.

This was not one of them. No hops, no bitterness; more a lager to cash in on the growing craft beer trend.
