BEAR BEER

Bear Beer. No, that's what it's called. Look for yourself!

And, at last, a beer (and a lager) with a polar bear on it that's not utter rot. Scratch that polar bear = dud theory, then.

This is a five percent Danish number from the same people who do the Bjorne that I didn't much like. In fact, I reckon this is what the Bjorne begins life as before they throw in all the saccharine to give it its nine percent volume to get the visiting Swedes as drunk as possible as fast as possible.

This is a nice balance of bitterness and maltiness and is inoffensive in a Heineken-ish sort of way, but with slightly more character.

6/10
