NEW BELGIUM BREWING SNOW DAY WINTER ALE

New Belgium Brewing's Snow Day Winter Ale. Imagine being snowed in by a winter storm in Colorado for three days? You could get into some mischief, right?

Unlike what you and I would probably do, these guys decided to come up with a new beer. No, me neither.

It's a deep, dark beer that smells like a cross between a freshly opened pine cone and grated lemon peel. Nope, not beery in the slightest.

It's a mix of three different hops and three different malts, but the wheat is overpowering and it sort of tastes dry and lemonish.

It doesn't really drink like any of the brewers were thinking about who'd be drinking it. It drinks like the brewers just felt like showing off.

They want you to serve it at 3 degrees celsius. That should tell you everything...

3/10
