GAITA 5

Gaita 5. I challenge you to find the Gaita 5 craft beer from Italy. I challenge you further to finish a glass of it.

Not only does it include the Big Four of beer ingredients, but rye, wheat, corn and, in case the entire concept had not yet been sufficiently adulterated, sugar.

The result, predictably, is an unpasteurised 5% mess of pure bitterness.

You'd think that at least one out of all those bits of flora might do enough to be noticed, but they've managed to balance them so seamlessly that you can't taste anything but bitterness. And more bitterness.

I've had ex-wives less bitter than this.

Definitely in my bottom five and next time I'll pour out the beer and drink the ample sediment (next time being about 40 years after my death).
