MONSCHOFF PILSNER

Surprisingly good Monchshof pils, very distinctive barley taste with a slightly hoppy aftertaste. Beautifully balanced 4.9% tipple in a half-litre bottle from Kulmbach in Bavaria. I'm learning that heavily rubbed bottles, from repeated recycling, are usually a good indicator of quality drinky poos in Germany. This one's no different.
