KOLPING KOLSCH

Now that the American leg of the YIB world tour is over, I've gone for a Kolping kolsch. And it dost please me.

Beautiful colour, rich malty taste and a very Un-German lack of bitterness.

The deeper I went into it the less balanced it felt, but still a good brew at 4.8%.

Kolsches are only made, by law, in the Cologne region of Germany, which explains why they taste a bit different to other German beers.
