HOFMANN HELLES LANDBIER

Nice, rich colour on one hand, blandish smell on the other. The smell's the true indicator, however.

Doesn't taste super beerish and lots of the Bavarians do helles styles better than Hofmann, which is up Dusseldorf way.

Not bad, not great. The sort of beer you'd happily without complaint or even a nose wrinkle if someone offered it to you at a barbecue, but nothing special.

Inoffensive, in a Heineken way.

5/10
