LORD NELSON BREWERY PALE ALE

The in-house beer from a small pub in Sydney’s Rocks area (one of the oldest in Australia, apparently), this is a damn fine Pale Ale.

Pours a bit cloudy, but has bags of flavour, nice yeast background, hint of fruit and not to hoppy. A few pints of this and it’s incredibly hard to go back to something like a Corona.

They also have a beer on tap there dedicated to former US VP candidate, Dan Quayle. Haven’t tried it, but I expect it makes you say really dumb things.

7/10
