TIGER

Traditional beer from Singapore (originally, it's a Heineken brew now so it could be coming from anywhere). The idea here was to make a beer the expats would love and that the locals would take to.

It's clear golden, lightly bubbled and tastes so much like everything else out there it's bound to be popular... but never outstanding.

Tiger's world acclaimed. It says so on the label. It also says it's won gold medals in London, Geneva and Paris, but strangely not in Belgium, Australia or Germany where they actually make good beers.

And that pretty much sums it up for me. If you're in Asia where there's bugger all else, i'm sure it's the preferred drop but anywhere else there's everything else. This analogy reminds me, Southwark from Adelaide. Wait till you get around to that one. It's foul.
