HOFMAN WEISSBIER

Hofmann's Helles Lager didn't fare too well here, so they've got a lot riding on the Weissbier. 

It's not a bad example of the type and it's not a brilliant example. It looks cloudy and smells distractingly like a helles, but it's not.

Instead, it tastest like an odd combo of honey sweet, in the manner of the more heavily wheated Weisses, and slightly bitter toffee.

The flavour changes enormously as it warms up, too. If you want a full burst of complex flavours, serve it around 7-9 degrees. If it's all you have in the fridge and you don't like sweet beers, serve it colder. And drink it quickly.
