FULLER'S LONDON PORTER

Fuller's London Porter. I honestly didn't plan to have two consecutive Fuller's offerings. It just happened that way when my mate, Matt, turned up with a tasty selection for me on New Year's Eve.

And I'm glad he did, because this is beaut. One of England's finest larger brewers, Fuller's has knocked out a porter here that smells rich, like a still-warm, perfectly cooked loaf of multi-grain bread.

It tastes fabulous, too, perfectly walking the line between being rich in toasted, caramel malts and late bitterness, yet still light enough to drink a few at a sitting. Keeps its head all the way down and leaves you wanting more.

8/10
