BOWRAL BREWING PIGS FLY PALE ALE

Bowral Brewing Pigs Fly Pale Ale. This is an American style pale ale hopped with Cascade and Chinook hops and is a moderate 4.6% ABV.

Dark golden yellow, moderate carbonation and a thin head. Bit of a sweet grainy malt aroma. Medium mouthfeel and moderate carbonation.

This beer seems to be variable. The first time I tried it I quite liked it. It was and crisp and refreshing with decent a hop flavour. I’ve tried it twice since, including a bottle from a bottlo near to the brewery. Both times it had a grainy malt flavour and tasted more like a German lager than an APA.

Let’s hope it improves as I like to support the little guys.

5/10
