BRIDGE ROAD BEECHWORTH PALE ALE

Bridge Road Beechworth Pale Ale. This is Bridge Road’s flagship beer. Dry hopped with at “least four hop varieties” to create a “new world” pale ale.

Standard pale ale appearance, grainy malt and citrus aroma. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Grainy malt flavour followed by a citrus and slight tobacco aftertaste.

As I’ve banged on about in the past dry hopping often imparts a tobacco flavour which I’m not a huge fan of. It tastes like a cleaner version of the Lord Nelson Three Sheets, lacking that bready flavour but with a tobacco aftertaste.

Overall, not bad.
