BROUWERIJ DE MOLEN AMARILLO IPA

Brouwerij De Molen Amarillo IPA. I was a bit underwhelmed by their Vuur & Vlam, but this makes up for it.

I opened this a little on the cold side and it did not release the full floral hop blast, but there was enough to keep me interested. This uses Saaz and Sladek hops with caramel barley malt in the brewing and it does produce a lovely smooth hoppy beer. The Amarillo? That’s the dryhop in the final stages. Maybe to appeal to the US market.

An IPA is not what you expect from a Netherlands brewer, but this hits the spot. Look for it.
