CASCADE EXPORT STOUT

Cascade Export Stout. Whilst in Tasmania I saw this at the bottlo and thought I’d try it to see how it compares to the usual Cascade Stout. I was drawn to the old school label, it looks like a hairs-on-your-chest kind of stout, in a similar vein to Sheaf Stout.

Upon pouring it smells promising with a nice dark malt aroma. However, it’s quite thin for a stout and it looks more like Toohey’s Old. It has the usual dark malt flavour but it’s lacking in body and bitterness.

Lacklustre stuff.
