CASTLE BREWERY BACCHUS

Castle Brewery Bacchus Flemish Old Brown. I was sorely tempted to drink this on the train, coming home from work. That would not have done this beer justice.

It pours beautifully dark with a dark head, and the aroma is fizzy sour. This is delicious and very refreshing, like a rich red wine. It has a smooth malty feel with no hops or bitterness. While I did enjoy this beer, it did finish feeling a little thin.

The brown paper wrapper hides a green bottle, which may explain my last impression. Overall well worth the drink.
