COORS BATCH 19

Coors Batch 19. Coors is best known for serving beers so ambivalent about flavour they need to be served so cold they'd chill a witch's tit.

This isn't like that. this isn't like a Coors at all. It's from a mainstream brewer, but it's not mainstream. It has been brewed from a pre-prohibition recipe and I don't hate it.

It pours with a nice, rich colour and the carbonation is just about the fastest I've ever seen. It's like they're racing each other to get to the head. Odd.

The aroma is somewhere not far away from corn and rice, and it's quite sweet initially with a touch of sourness, some late caramel and some nicely balanced bitterness.

It won't be for everyone, but it's pretty good. I'd like another crack in summer, because I don't think it's at its best in winter.

7/10
