ENDEAVOUR 2013 SUMMER ALE

Endeavour 2013 Summer Ale. I’m yet to be impressed by Endeavour beers. They are ridiculously expensive and nothing special. For example their Reserve Pale Ale is A$73 a case.

I saw this on tap and only bought it because it was on special. Apparently it’s part of their “Seasonal Series”. It’s a single hopped beer using malts and hops from Tasmania. I’m suspecting the single hop is Pride of Ringwood.

Standard commercial appearance with an artificial looking head. Virtually no aroma. Medium body with moderate carbonation. The mouthfeel is better than expected. Slight citrus flavour, easy drinking and inoffensive.

Would I drink it again? Yes but only if it was cheap and there was nothing better on offer.

5/10
