EVIL TWIN BREWING FALCO IPA

Evil Twin Brewing Falco IPA. Evil Twin is a Danish/American gypsy brewery known for creating extreme and left of field style beers. Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø is the brainchild behind the company and is the twin brother of Mikel Borg Bjergsø of Mikkeller fame. Evil Twin utilise breweries around the world to brew their beers.

Falco IPA is an American style IPA. It was brewed at Two Roads Brewing Company which is based at Stratford in the US.

Opaque, pale yellow colour, soft carbonation with a fine head and sweet pine aroma. Smooth mouthfeel with medium body.

Starts with a sweet caramel malt flavour leading into citrus and pine hop flavours with a moderately bitter and resinous finish.

The hop flavours and bitterness lingers. The 7% ABV give it a smooth mouthfeel without being overly boozy. As it warms up it becomes sweeter with a honey-like flavour but still has a lingering bitterness. It lies somewhere between an American IPA and an Imperial IPA. A solid drop.

If you ever see an Evil Twin brew at the bottlo be sure to snap it as it won’t be there for long.
