FERAL BREWING BORIS RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT

Feral Brewing Company Boris Russian Imperial Stout. Just look at it. You know this is going to be good.

It pours an impenetrable black with a rich russet head and the aroma conjures images of ground coffee dusted with dark chocolate before roasting. The first sip fills your mouth with a beautiful cloying chocolate bitterness and then sweet caramel malt comes in.

This is easy to drink and a beautiful beer to finish the night, which makes me wonder why I enjoyed one on tap in the middle of the afternoon. I guess anytime is the right time for a beer like this.
