GAGE ROADS ABSTINENCE CHOCOLATE ALE

Gage Roads Abstinence Belgian Dubbel Chocolate Ale, to give it its full name.

Don't be fooled by the label. You will not have two chocolate-covered girls fawning over you if you buy this beer. I felt very ripped off, just like when I found out about Santa, only this was worse. Because they were covered in chocolate.

Beer wise, this was also disappointing.  I think the enamel on my teeth has been replaced after drinking this beer.

It's not as bad as gluten-free beer, so it's not terrible, it's just not particularly enjoyable.

Happily, its a limited release so the good people at Gage Roads can get to making their normal brews, which are (almost) always great.

5/10
