GREEN FLASH BREWING HOP HEAD RED IPA

Green Flash Brewing Hop Head Red Red India Pale, to give it it’s full title. The label specifically mentions that it is Amarillo dry hopped.

They do use Columbus and Nugget (don’t know that one) hops as well and it does open with a blast of hops when you pour this lovely looking red beer. As other Beerios have said, it does have a soapy cream head. But it is full of resinous hops and mixed with a good amount of malt gives a smooth satisfying mouthfeel. Even with the Spiegalau IPA Canon the aroma dissipates to give a faintly offputting smell, but the smooth bitterness last to the bottom.

I could see myself having many more of this scrumptious beer.

8/10
