JAMES SQUIRE JACK OF SPADES PORTER

James Squire Jack of Spades Porter. A dark black appearance and roasted malt aroma, it looks like the real deal.

Chocolate and coffee flavours with a relatively thin body and moderate bitterness. The roasted malt almost gives an acidic taste, like a strong black coffee. As it warms up it becomes sweeter, possible too sweet. The flavours aren’t that complex and it’s lacking body.

It’s ok but there are better porters out there.
