JAMES SQUIRE STOW AWAY IPA

James Squire Stow Away IPA. An English style IPA brewed with Munich and pale malt and dry hopped with Fuggles hops.

Years ago when beers on tap other than VB and New were a novelty, I didn’t mind this beer. It was something different and had some flavour. Now I’ve tried other beers, especially other IPAs, it’s a little underwhelming. It also tastes a lot better on tap than in bottles.

Sweet caramel aroma. Starts with a sweet caramel flavour, leading into an earthy (dirt) flavour with a moderately bitter finish.  Ok but not great.
