LEFT HAND MILK STOUT NITRO

Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro. This New York brew came to me as a piece of desperation to wash out the taste of its predecessor. And it did it reasonably well.

As with most dark beers in the US, it's served far too cold to deliver its best initially and only really works deeper in the glass.

The trouble is, even then it doesn't exactly sizzle like the best British stouts. It's just a bit watery without the creaminess of the best stuff.

Manageable, but nothing special.

5/10
