MARSTON'S PEDIGREE ENGLISH PALE ALE

Marston's Pedigree English Pale Ale. Is "Pedigree" a brand of dog food where you live? It sure is in England, where this is made.
My dog occasionally chews bread, but barley malt is another story.
Still, this isn't my first Marston brew. If it was, I probably wouldn't bother going back.
The Oyster Stout is a better bet, but not when it's 35 degrees. The English, understandably, don't have a style that works in harmony with very hot weather, so it's a little unfair to judge the Pedigree on this sample.
It felt very low in its carbonation, which is really at odds with the hot day thing, and tasted just short of how rich it looked.
I'm not going to nail this down as the definitive test, because the weather didn't suit it.
Instead, I'll just give it, for now...
