MATSO’S BROOME BREWERY PEARLERS PALE ALE

Matso’s Broome Brewery Pearlers Pale Ale. Pale, it’s almost transparent and that lightness sums up this beer.

The aroma is slight pine, slight malt, faint hops and a 4.5% ABV it is a bit light on alcohol. This is brewed in the tropics where a light beer might be welcome at the end of a hot day, but this lacks any depth of flavour. Everything sits on the surface of your palate and then dissipates.

I think that I would prefer something with much more body, even if I had to hustle inside to the airconditioning.
