MAXLRAINER ERNTE HELL

Maxlrainer Ernte Hell. This is Maxlrainer's take on a mid-strength beer, but it's trending towards a light at 2.8%.

It's made from two different barley malts and delivers a typical Maxlrainer-ish malty lager smell and a slightly soapy-looking head.

It tastes like a slightly less potent version of what it is: one of the best helles beers in Germany.

There are some hints of bitterness in here and some softer malts and Maxlrainer's signature lip-smacking buttery/creamy aftertaste, but you get the feeling something small is missing.

Still, if you had to drink a lighter beer for whatever reason, you'd be hard pressed to find a better one.

7/10
