MENABREA 55 PILSNER

Menabrea 55 Pilsner. This is the middle ranker of Menabrea's premium "restaurant" range. You can tell this largely because there is a 25 below it and a 75 above it. And the extra spiffiness that has gone into the label.

As per Menabrea tradition, this is a pilsner brewed with corn, water, corn, barley, corn, hops, corn and yeast. And, apparently, it has corn in it.

Does that help it to achieve something extraordinary? No, no it doesn't.

It's mega bland, with corn being the dominant flavour and only a modest hint of bitterness to overcome the papery grass hints that sneak out from beneath the edges of the corn blanket.

Pants.

3/10
