MOO BREW BELGO

Moo Brew Belgo. When I ordered this on tap I had no idea what I was in for. It was like doing a blind taste test and trying to work out what kind of beer it was.
It has a medium to light body with an estery yeast flavour. It tasted like it could be a Hefeweizen or a Belgian. It seemed too light to be a Belgian so I was thinking some kind of wheat beer. Especially given the banana and clove-like ester flavours.
Apparently it’s a Belgian Pale Ale with American hops and has a 4.5% ABV. I didn’t taste the hops or detect any hop bitterness. It gives the perception it’s only about 15 IBU. It’s pleasant enough but nothing to rave on about.
5/10
