MOOSE DROOL BROWN ALE

Moose Drool Brown Ale. Come for the name, stay for the beer. What a surprise packet!

This is full of flavour, full of aroma and full of mouthfeel and almost all of it good.

There's an awful lot going on here and it could have so easily gone awry, but it's clearly been brewed with accuracy and discipline to deliver something terrific.

There are a host of flavour hints, ranging from single malts to caramels, from spiciness to hoppy bitterness, from chocolate tones to smoked wood. It could have been a mess, but it turned into something where every flavour gets its chance to shine while enhancing the whole.

Terrific job, Montana.

8/10
