MORRISON BREWERY IRISH STOUT

Morrison Brewery Irish Stout. Morrison Brewery was established in Launceston, Tasmania in 2011. Head brewer, Paul Morrison, was inspired to start his own brewery after winning the Hobart Beerfest Home Brewing Competition.

He leans towards English styles of beer and permanent releases include an Irish Red Ale, Irish Stout and an English Bitter. I picked up a bottle of their Irish stout from a bottlo in Tassie.

Thin body with poor head retention. Dark malt aroma. Ridiculously thin mouthfeel with almost non-existent carbonation. Chocolate and coffee flavours but watery and lacking bitterness.

Diet stout.
