MOUNTAIN GOAT INDIA PALE ALE

Mountain Goat India Pale Ale. I am glad that I had the second stent put in yesterday. The shock of discovering a Mountain Goat with a twist top might have given me another heart attack.

Once I overcame my snobbish abhorrence of the opening procedure I poured the beer and immediately appreciated the strong hops aroma. The first sip was wonderful. Strong hoppy bitterness with a smooth malty undercurrent and finish.

Luckily I have a few more bottles of this beautiful IPA. I am sorely tempted to downgrade the score due to the presumption that a good beer drinker would be openerless.
