NEW HOLLAND FULL CIRCLE KOLSCH

New Holland Full Circle Kolsch. An extremely pale looking Kolsch that wouldn't be allowed to be called a kolsch if it was brewed in Germany anywhere but Cologne. But this is from Michigan and they don't care for Germany's domestic rules. So Kolsch it is.

And it's surprisingly pretty good. There's not much bitterness in it, but then Kolsches tend to taste a bit bewteen a light-tasting lager and a pilsner, so you probably shouldn't expect much bitterness.

What you get is a big, long lasting malty burst that starts as a small malty burst and just builds from there.

It might be too much for a session beer, but it's a very nice little sampler.

6/10
