PABST BLUE RIBBON BEER

Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer. An American Adjunct Lager (just like the Backus y Johntson Cristal), and yes this also fits the bill.

It had a strange sweet malty aroma when I popped the can. A little research (OK, Google) revealed that this uses corn syrup. Corn syrup; that is sinking a bit low.

They also claim that they use Yugoslavian hops (and I hope the Ustashe note that I have no comment on that). What little flavour this has quickly disappears. This was easily drinkable, but not that enjoyable.

The Blue Ribbon has nothing to do with quality; the original bottles had blue ribbon tied around the neck. Definitely sex in a canoe.
