PRICKLY MOSES BLACK PANTHER

Prickly Moses Black Panther. The name of this beer alludes to the mysterious sightings of big black cats roaming the Victorian bush. There’s lots of speculation whether they are Cougars, Panthers, Pumas or just large feral cats. Whatever they are it’s a good excuse to brew a dark ale.
Hopped with North American hops and brewed with caramelised black malt to add a bit of a roasty, burnt flavour. This style of beer is known by three different names - Black India Pale Ale (BIPA), India Black Ale (IBA) and Cascadian Dark Ale (CDA). Black IPA seems to be the most commonly used name. However, beer nerds will argue India Black Ale is the most correct term.
Dark brown with a red tinge when held up to the light. Fine, creamy head. Chocolate malt and citrus hop aroma. Smooth, luscious mouthfeel. Rich chocolate malt flavour, followed by an underlying citrus hop flavour. The malt dominates but the hops provide balance of both flavour and bitterness.
This is a flavoursome and solid drop.
