RED HILL BREWERY HOP HARVEST 2013

Red Hill Brewery Hop Harvest 2013. The annual autumn seasonal from Red Hill Brewery is an English style bitter with a stack of fresh hops.

The base of this beer is a mix of several malts - Marris Otter, Crystal and Pale Chocolate. Willamette and Goldings hops from their own vines were used for bittering an aroma. The beer was then placed in conditioning vats for several months and dry hopped with Goldings.

Hazy, orangy / amber colour with a creamy, hoppy head. Smooth, with low carbonation, medium body with a great hop flavour. It has kind of citrus / weed flavour and is a little resinous. It doesn’t taste that bitter for the amount of hop flavour.

Very tasty, goes down well.

8/10
