RED ISLAND BREWING QUIET DEEDS PALE ALE

Red Island Brewing Quiet Deeds Pale Ale. Red Island Brewing Company is part of Red Island Pty Ltd which is a “premium beverage” importer based in Melbourne. Their rather strange slogan is “For those who prefer to toast, rather than boast”. At time of writing their beers are being brewed in NSW by contract brewer Brewpack.

The pale ale is an American style pale ale brewed with four different malts and hopped with Aussie Cascade and Amarillo hops.

There isn’t much to this beer – a sweet caramel and grainy malt flavour. Where are the hops? A bland beer from a contract brewer. No surprises here.

It’s probably best they keep quiet.
