RIVERSIDE BREWING RESURRECTION ALE

Riverside Brewing Resurrection Ale. This is the first official limited release from the Riverside, aptly released in Easter 2013.

Style-wise, it’s a bit of a mixed bag, with the head brewer reluctantly describing it as an “India Amber Ale”. It uses the relatively newly developed American hop Mosaic and has been barrel conditioned in Hungarian Oak.

Red / brown and full boded. A strong malt base leading into a resinous pine and grapefruit flavour. It's like a malty version of an American style IPA.

Bitter finish and a decent resinous mouthfeel without over doing it. Sacrilegiously good.
