ROGUE ALES DRY HOPPED ST ROGUE RED ALE

Rogue Ales Dry Hopped St Rogue Red Ale. I am liking Rogue Ales beers. This is dedicated to Fuku, a Wagu beef stud bull, who remained a rogue to the end. You don’t need me, you can look it up yourself.

The coppery pour appeared to over carbonated, but that’s just the IPA glass. The aroma is spicy hops and the hint of musk sticks had me thinking that this must use Yakima hops, but no they use Chinook, Perle and Centennial. The varied malt bill has slightly roasted flavour with spicy hops.

Although this tastes good, it is a bit gutless. There is no full mouthfeel of malt or hop resin. It left me feeling a little flat.
