SIERRA NEVADA HARVEST 2012 (NTH)

Sierra Nevada Northern Hemisphere Harvest 2012, from Beeriosity "Prospect" John Bus. Traveling John writes: It pours a golden amber colour with a large head that has some staying power and I got some decent lacing left on the glass.

A very well balanced beer with a great malt sweetness and a piney and slightly citrusy bitter hop flavour.

The novel proposition with this beer is the use of 'wet hops', which are un-dried hops, picked and shipped within 24 hours. Well worth the extra effort and well worth you trying it if you are into the big ballsy American IPA style of beers.

9/10
