STAUDER PILSNER

Stauder Pilsner. The further north you go in Germany, the more relevant the pilsner style becomes.

This is a better option than the commercial German pilsners like Warsteiner and Beck's.

It delivers a solid head that it retains until you're ready for another one, and that head sits atop a golden beer body.

It has a very balanced mouthfeel, is perfectly carbonated and then it delivers a flavour that hopheads won't enjoy.

Lager people will find comfort in its subtle malty undertones, its slightly zesty lemon hints and its crisp, delicately bitter finish.

Definitely a session beer from Essen.

7/10
