TEMPLE BREWING PALE ALE

Temple Brewing Pale Ale. I check out the aroma and I’m surprised it smells like a German lager.

Oh well, I’ll give it a taste… no still a German lager. Did they mix up their labelling at the bottling plant? It’s hard to tell because a lot of their beers have the same label with a wanky strip over the top of the bottle with the beer name on it.

Apparently this pale ale is brewed with American hops including Magnum, Crystal, Amarillo and Cascade flowers. They claim “to maximise the fresh hop character, we use a hop back”. Apart from the bitter finish, there isn’t much hop character. Disappointing.
