TOWNSHEND’S JCIPA

Townshend’s JCIPA. I have no idea what the JC stands for, but they claim that this is a traditional India Pale Ale.

The apricot aroma and taste indicate to my uncouth palate that it is an American Pale Ale. I won’t quibble because whatever this is, it is very tasty.

A bit over carbonated, but that settled down. Some hops and the aforementioned apricot aroma followed by a full mouthful of slightly bitter hops and more apricot.

Very enjoyable, even if I had to wait for the head to die down.

8/10
