YEASTIE BOYS GUNNAMATTA IPA

Yeastie Boys Gunnamatta IPA. A beer infused with Earl Grey Blue Flower Tea.

The aroma took me straight to afternoon tea at The Persian Room in Pyrmont, Sydney. The wonderful spiciness of the Bergamot and Malva might be to blame.

This is more a spice beer than an IPA. It lacks the hoppy belt and the bitterness that I prefer.

It looks good, with the contrast between the darkish cloudy beer and the blindingly white head. As I have said, it smells good and the taste is wonderfully refreshing with a good malty backbone, although I am not sure that I could sit down to a session.

It might be Haram, but after the history walk around Pyrmont I would have preferred this to the Pomegranate Tea.
