Ysta Farskol

Ysta Farskol. If I can't be bothered with umlauts for Zee Chermans, I'm not going to start for the Swedes, no matter how many chefs they provide for the Muppets.
This is the Ysta Farskol, from the small region of Ysta in the south. It's a brave thing to attempt in the land of the nine-month winter, being an unfiltered and unpasteurized lager. The Germans would call this a naturtrub or a zwickl.
It comes in healthy 500ml bottles that pour out a rich, deep yellow brew with huge bubbles that don't survive their exposure to the glass for very long.
That doesn't seem to concern it, though, and it is such a refreshing beer, with lime hints in it, that you might imagine it's from a country with a long, hot summer. Not bad, not bad at all.
6/10
